Chopard High Jewellery Event

Chopard Arrives in Cambodia With Luxurious Offerings And Support for a Just Cause

Chopard, arguably one of the last few family-owned brands in the world of watches and jewellery, announced the opening of its new corner at the prominent Vattanac Capital Mall on Preah Monivong Boulevard. This was made possible thanks to their partnership with Cambodia’s premier luxury multi-brand watch retailer, Timepieces.

To celebrate this momentous partnership, Ms Caroline Scheufele the Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard flew into Phnom Penh with the Chopard Brand Ambassador and Czech supermodel, Petra Němcová to host an exclusive gastronomic dinner experience for forty of their most esteemed guests. During the night, guests were also treated to a special preview of the much-revered Chopard Red Carpet 2015 and High Jewellery collections comprised of unique and bejeweled timepieces and jewellery, solely dedicated to a single color theme and accomplished by using a stunning array of gemstones such as rubies, emeralds, sapphires and of course, diamonds.

Chopard, known for its philanthropic spirit, has long been using its talent and reputation to help the most vulnerable members of society. According to Ms Caroline Scheufele, the Scheufele family views serving just and noble causes as a natural duty. As such, in support of the Red Cross Society in Cambodia, they created a limited edition Chopard timepiece and bracelet bearing the Red Cross motif.

The watch – a Chopard Happy Sport Medium Automatic – was a piece unique, and was auctioned to the highest bidder on the evening of 22 October 2015 during a special gala celebration hosted by Chopard and Timepieces. The Happy Heart bracelet on the other hand was limited to 88 pieces and sold exclusively at Timepieces in Phnom Penh. For each of these luxurious items sold, a portion of the proceeds would then go to the Red Cross Society in Cambodia.
